Mashed potatoes with olive oil

This is not only mashed potatoes, this is the best mashed potatoes!

This simple dish was one of my favorites during my childhood. In Lebanon, this dish is commonly served on its own with Arabic bread (very very thin Pita, not really Pita). Some families might add a bit of garlic and lemon but I like it that simple.

Had a lot of potatoes left and some started germinating so I decided to make this dish. #seasonsupply

  • Peeled boiled potatoes
  • High quality olive oil
  • Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Mash the potatoes. Be generous with the olive oil. Add salt to taste. You can eat with a fork or bread (ideal with Arabic bread)
