To prepare these pork ribs, bring water to a boil in a large pot with the piece of onion and the whole garlic clove. Once the water is boiling, add the ribs to cook. Reduce the heat to medium and let them simmer for an hour until the meat is well cooked.

Meanwhile, prepare the BBQ sauce by chopping the onion and placing it in a pot with a few drops of vegetable oil. Sauté for a couple of minutes and add the chopped garlic, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and lemon juice.

Bring to a boil over medium heat. Then reduce the heat to low, add the teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and season with salt and black pepper. Stir and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.

After the hour of cooking, remove the ribs from the water and place them on a baking tray. Generously cover them with BBQ sauce and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F for about half an hour. After fifteen minutes, take the ribs out of the oven, add more sauce, and bake for the remaining 15 minutes.
