Ingredients

Pre-30mins, cook-15mins
4 serves
  • 250 gram Salmon (boneless)
  • 1/4 cupboiled Quinua
  • 1/2 tspSalt or as per taste
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tbspMustard sauce
  • 3chopped Garlic
  • 1 tspLemon juice
  • 1 tspmustard Oil
  • 1/2 tspgaram Masala powder
  • 1 tspRed Chilli powder
  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped Onion
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped corriender
  • For Coating,
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbspOil for fry the cakes
  • For Hummus,
  • 1 cup boiled Chickpea
  • 2chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 1 tbsproasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbspLemon juice
  • 2 tbspOlive oil (1 tbsp reserved)
  • 1/2 tspSalt or as per taste
  • 2 tbspreserved boiled Chickpea water

Steps

Pre-30mins, cook-15mins
  1. 1

    For Hummus,Take boiled chickpeas, chopped garlic cloves,cumin seeds, roasted sesame seeds, lemon juice, olive oil, add salt, reserved water which was used to boil the chickpeas in mixer jar and blend it till smooth paste

  2. 2

    Now Hummus is ready,Set aside this for next step

  3. 3

    For Salmon and quinua, take salmon cubes, add salt, add turmeric powder, mustard sauce, add garlic cloves, lemon juice

  4. 4

    Now add mustard oil, garam masala powder, add pepper powder, red chilli powder, blend to make a coarse paste

  5. 5

    Add finely chopped onion into the ready paste

  6. 6

    Add chopped fresh coriander, mix it

  7. 7

    Take boiled quinoa, add the ready salmon paste mix well

  8. 8

    Shape into small patties

  9. 9

    Get all the patties ready take crushed rolled oats in a plate,

  10. 10

    Roll the ready patties in this heat oil in a nonstick pan,

  11. 11

    Shallow fry the patties flip & fry from both sides on low-medium heat until golden brown & crisp

  12. 12

    Once done add olive oil to the ready hummus, sprinkle some red chilli flakes & fresh coriander on top

  13. 13

    Serve with the ready salmon & quinoa cakes
