Ingredients

  • 2 CupAtta (Weat flour) -
  • Palak–1 cup finely chopped
  • Onion–1 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves_ finely chopped
  • Green chillies_2 finely chopped
  • 1 tspAjwain (Carom seeds) -
  • 1/2 tspRed chili powder -
  • tspKasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)–1
  • tbspOil–1
  • to tasteSalt
  • Water for kneading
  • Oil for cooking
  • Flour for dusting

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl, mix all above ingredients except for water n oil for cooking.

  2. 2

    Mix till all ingredients come together. vegetables water released due to the salt will be enough to slightly wet the ingredients and bring them together.

  3. 3

    Now adding little water a time, start kneading the mixture, Knead well for 2-3 mins.
    Cover and keep aside for 5 mins.

  4. 4

    Heat a pan, make small sections/ rounds of the dough.

  5. 5

    Place a small section on flat surface and roll out into a think round paratha. Use plain flour for dusting.

  6. 6

    When evenly rolled out, drizzle a little oil on the tawa/pan and place the paratha on top.

  7. 7

    Cook the paratha on both sides for 1 min each or till golden brown and cooked.

  8. 8

    Remove from heat and continue the same process with the remaining sections.

  9. 9

    Serve this hot paratha with any achar n curd.
    U can eat this paratha in breakfast, dinner or even in the lunch.
