Steps

Dry roast 6 tbsp of white sesame in a pan. Cool it

Fry 2 tbsp urad daall, 1 tbsp of Bengal gram, 1 tbsp of coriander seeds, 1/2 tsp of methi seeds, 10 Kashmiri chillies in a tsp of cooking oil. Cool it.

Grind all the spices with 1/4 cup of coconut in a mixer with little water.

Soak a lemon sized tamarind and extract the pulp.

Take 3 cups of pineapple cubes in a pan; add water till the pineapple cubes are immersed and cook.

Once the pineapple cubes become soft, add the tamarind pulp, a tbsp of jaggery, required salt and a pinch of turmeric.
Let it boil till the raw smell of tamarind goes.
Now add the ground paste and mix well and cook for few mins. - 7
Heat a tbsp of coconut oil and add a tsp of mustard seeds. Let it splutter.
Add the tadka to the pan and mix.
Switch off the stove. Tasty pineapple menaskai is ready. Enjoy with rice.
