Steps

Boil the dal with salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil and temper Fenugreek seeds

Add ginger and garlic,saute well

Add onion chopped and saute until moisture dries up

Add salt and turmeric powder and red chilli Powder
- 6
Add cumin-coriander powder and mix well
- 7
Add boiled dal and simmer until it is well cooked
- 8
Add sugar and stir well,garnish with butter and Slitted green chilies and serve
