Cream your sugar and margarine for 3mins

Add your egg and continue beating until well incorporated.

Add flour and dessicated coconut and fold gently.

Add the milk.

Halve the dough and add the food colour to one.

Put in a bowl and cover with clingfling for 2 hours.

Preheat your oven to 160°C.

Using a knife cut in sizeable pieces, roll with your hand and apply pressure with the palm of your hand.

Design your cookies how you would wish. E.g bottom of a glass, fork, cookie cutters... anything in the kitchen that will give it a wonderful design

Grease your baking tray. Bake for 20mins.

Remove from oven and let it cool on the tray for 10mins.

Remove and place on a cooling rack to cool off completely.

Serve with tea, coffee or milk.
