Everyone surely would be confused with the name of the dish, It is not porridge but a special type of lightly sweetened drink made of rava. This is mostly taken for breaking the ramadan fast. Adding fried shallots give immense taste to this. It is supposed to settle the stomach and eases the cramps that arise from the sudden rush of food and water after a day of abstinence from any food and water. It is easy to make, tastes light and delicious, a large glass of this imparts the energy as well.
