Steps
- 1
First, cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water. Follow the cooking time on the package. While the pasta cooks, make the sauce. In a skillet with a splash of oil, sauté the onion until golden.
- 2
When the onion is almost golden, add the chorizo cut into small pieces and stir until it gets some color. Add the tomato sauce, stir a couple of times, then add the cream, a little salt, and mix. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.
- 3
If you want the sauce a little thinner, add milk to taste until you reach the desired consistency. Once the sauce is how you like it, remove from heat. When the macaroni is done, drain and place in an oven-safe dish.
- 4
Pour the sauce over the pasta and mix gently to combine. Sprinkle shredded melting cheese on top as desired and bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
