Gujiya or Naveri is a sweet dumpling from the northern part of India. This dumpling's outer layer is made of maida and stuffed with dry coconut and nuts. The cooking time is very less time yet tasty. This is a perfect snacking idea for this shivratri.

Gujiya or Naveri is a sweet dumpling from the northern part of India. This dumpling's outer layer is made of maida and stuffed with dry coconut and nuts. The cooking time is very less time yet tasty. This is a perfect snacking idea for this shivratri.
Steps

Take a mixing bowl and add the maida, salt and hot ghee. Mix it well.

Knead it into a soft dough by adding the milk. Cover and rest for 20 mins.

Take a mixing bowl add powdered sugar, dry coconut, cardamom and desiccated coconut. The stuffing is ready.

After twenty minutes take a ball sized dough and roll it into a small puri

Fill it with one tbsp of the stuffing and cover it like a hemisphere.

Seal the sides and deep fry it in hot oil
