Pulled Pork with the Slow Cooker
This type of meat is perfect for cooking in a slow cooker, which is one of those pots that cook at a low temperature for many hours. There are various types available on the market, and they are very convenient because the meat cooks on its own without needing frequent checking.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Lightly brush the piece of meat with oil and coat it completely with the spices. Place the seasoned pork in a dish, cover it, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 8 hours (the longer it marinates, the more flavorful it will be).
- 2
Pour the vinegar and water into the slow cooker, place the pork inside, cover with the lid, and cook on 'slow' for about 7 hours.
- 3
Turn the meat once about halfway through cooking, but do it very quickly to maintain the pot's proper temperature.
- 4
At the end of cooking, drain the meat from the juices (be careful as it will be very tender) and shred it with a fork.
- 5
Serve the pulled pork with slices of bread or hamburger buns, barbecue sauce, ketchup, Sriracha sauce, and a bit of its cooking juices.

Pulled Pork, Korean Style, slow cooker Pulled Pork, Korean Style, slow cooker
All I can say is OMG!What a great thing for any varieties of eating style. Lettuce wraps, rolls, tacos, even spring rolls. Pretty easy to make, tastes really good. The recipe offers some adjustments to customize to your taste. This is great for parties, a larger pork butt can be used and the recipe scales easily. I used a 4 pound one in this recipe, but it works for 4-5 pound roasts just as is. Actually the pictures are a 4 pound. Fo Fa -
