For your swallow, get your amala sieved and ready for use

In a clean spacious pot pour in your boiling water, and use your big wooden spatula to stir around while adding your amala

Then, you mix well for 1-2mins, pour little hot water and reduce heat to allow it cook for about 6-10mins, bring it down and mix well, and it’s ready to serve.

Here’s your jute leaves,

Remove the leaves from it’s stem avoiding the sticks

Wash well with enough water

Drain out water

Blend on the lowest level on your blender

Get a pot, add in your water

Then add in your egusi

Now your seasoning, cover and allow to cook for 4-5mins

Now pour in your blended jute leaves, keep on stirring with a spoon until it’s turns to a fine green color

And your ayoyo is ready
