Best ever Italian meat sauce

Brown ground chuck and sausage together until done and drain off grease.

Cook in a few tablespoons of olive oil, onion, green pepper and mushrooms until just tender

In a large saucepan combine all ingredients together and simmer over low to medium heat for about 1 hour. Stir every few minutes to prevent sticking to bottom of pan. Add olive oil and/or water if it is too thick for your liking

As with any recipe you can add more spices to your taste. Do not omit the ground clove. It is the secret to this sauce... my family has made this for decades. It is amazing.
