First, mix the flour and sugar together.

Next, combine the milk and water, making sure there are no lumps.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix to make a medium-flowing batter. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.

If you want to make it quickly, add 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (also called sweet soda) to the batter.

Pour the batter onto a nonstick skillet and cook until golden on both sides. If you don't have a nonstick skillet, use a regular griddle with a little ghee or oil.

Place on a plate and garnish with honey, dried fruits, and coconut.
