Badam Puri
It's is an authentic and traditional sweet recipe from Karnataka. This crispy Badam puri or badami poori is prepared using maida, ghee and sugar. Trinagular puris are deep fried and dipped in sugar syrup to get crispy badam puris, which are soft from inside. It's is special Sweet of Holi festival in Karnataka

Take a bowl, add maida, salt, ghee and mix well. Add water little by little to make a soft dough

Make a sugar syrup, add 1cup of water and 2cup of sugar, 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and boil until 1 string consistency and add edible orange colour

From the dough, make lemon sized balls and roll of puri size and fold it in half twice to form a triangular discs and roll the triangular discs again and prick with fork on both sides of the disc

Heat the oil in a pan for deep frying, put the rolled discs into the hot oil and fry till golden brown

Dip the fried discs into sugar syrup for a min and it's ready to serve and eat
