Take a wok. Add water and sugar. Give 2-3 boil. Keep stirring till sugar dissolves. (Do not over boil otherwise it will become chashni.) Then add citric acid. Let it cool at room temperature. Now sieve it. Add lemon juice. Mix it well. Store in a glass bottle in fridge. When u want to drink take this mixture and add chilled water, shikanji masala. Drink it chilled......
