Gulab jamun is one of the most authentic dishes. These are usually made up of khoya . I have tried making it with milk powder which is easily available and quite easy.

Here are the all ingredients:

Mix milk powder, all purpose flour, baking powder and ghee and mix all together. Keep it aside for 1/2 an hour.

In a mean time take sugar in a pan and add 1 cup water to it. Simmer it for 4 mins on low flame to make sugar syrup. Add cardamom seeds to it while boiling.

Divide milk powder mixture in marble sized balls.

Heat sufficient ghee for deep frying. Fry Gulab jamun on a low flame till it turns golden brown in colour.

Switch off the flame and add these Gulab jamun to warm sugar syrup and let it soak in syrup for 2 hours.

Serve it either cool or warm.
