Ingredients

  1. 1 -cup moong (whole green gram)
  2. 1 - tbsp oil
  3. 1/2 - tbsp jeera / cumin
  4. 6-7curry leaves
  5. 1/4- tbsp hing / asafoetida
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1 - tbsp lemon juice
  8. 2 - tbsp coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Clean and wash the moong,add 4- cup water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles.

    Allow the steam to escape naturally before opening the lid.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and add jeera.

  4. 4

    The seeds crackel,add the curry leaves, hing and moong with water. mix well.and bring to boil.

  5. 5

    Add the lemon juice and mix well.Serve the moong soup hot, garnish with coriander.

  6. 6

    Healthy soup is ready.
