Ingredients

1-2 servings
  1. 1 cupmoong daal
  2. 1-2dry red Chilli
  3. 1/2 tspCumin seeds (Jeera)
  4. 4-5Garlic cloves
  5. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder (haldi)
  6. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  7. As requiredSalt (to taste)
  8. 1medium onion (chopped)
  9. Some Coriander leaves
  10. As requiredButter and oil
  11. As requiredWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Take pressure cooker. Add 1 cup of moong dal, 2 cups water, turmeric powder and salt as required and cook it on medium flame for 1 whistle.

  2. 2

    Then take a kadhai. Add a cube of butter and some oil into it. Then add some dry red chilli, cumin seeds into it and let it splutter.

  3. 3

    Then add onion and crushed garlic into it and fry it. Then add red chilli powder and mix it with onion and garlic.

  4. 4

    Then pour boiled dal into the kadhai and mix everything properly.

  5. 5

    At last add some coriander leaves. And stir it.

  6. 6

    Lasooni moong daal is ready serve it with steamed rice and papad.
