Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 3left over chapati
  2. 3 tbspOil
  3. 1 1/2 tbspjeera (cumin seeds)
  4. 1/2 tspHing (asafoetida)
  5. 1 tspHaldi (turmeric powder)
  6. 1 1/2 tbsp lal mirch power (red chilli powder)
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tbspsugar
  9. 2 tbspwater

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the left-over roti with hands into small pieces. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a kadhai. Add jeera when oil is heated. When jeera start crackling, add hing, Haldi and the left-over roti, and give a nice toss.

    Add red-chilli powder, also add 2 tbsp of water and give a nice mix and cook for 2 mins.

    After 2 mins add salt to taste and 1/2 tbsp of sugar and mix it nicely and cook for another 1/2 min. Your leftover masala roti is ready to serve.

    Serve the masala roti with garma garam masala chai
