In a pot heat milk, cinnamon stick and vanilla essence slowly. Stir constantly. Slowly add custard powder and brown sugar. Keep stirring until the custard thickens.

When it's thick remove the cinnamon stick.

Pour into small bowls.. I poured a little at the bottom and then place a Marie biscuit over and top of with more custard.. sprinkle cinnamon.. enjoy Zaheera
