Ingredients

  1. 2potatoes medium size
  2. 3 tsp cornflour
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 2 tablespoons Oil
  5. 2 tbspwhole lentil
  6. extra ingredients -
  7. as requiredGreen chutany
  8. as requiredTamarind chutney
  9. As neededSweet curd
  10. as required sev
  11. as per tasteRed chilli pwder
  12. as requiredChat masala

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak lentils in water for 5-6 hours. Cook it with adding salt

  2. 2

    Peel potatoes and grated it.

  3. 3

    Keep grated potatoes in ice water.

  4. 4

    Then squeeze it with hands and remove from water. Add corn flour and salt in it and knead it.

    Take a small katori and set mixture of potatoes on it's bottom.

  6. 6

    Heat Appam pan grease it with oil and set katori on it. And slowly shake and set in one mold. Set all like this.

    Cover it and cook on slow flame. Flip it after 10-12 minutes and cook from front side without covering.

    If nessesary flip it again and cook it crisper and golden brown in colour. Or you can deep fry it on regular way

    Keep this katori in serving plate add boiled moong, green chutney, curd, tamarind chutney on it.

    Sprincle red chilli powder and chat masala on it. Add sev on it and serve it.

    Note- if you will making in Appam pan then serve it quickly. Because may it becomes loose.
