Steps

Measure out all ingredients accurately

Put flour, sugar, fat, salt, and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly until well combined

Add water, yeast and vanilla and mix to form a doughnut 10 -15 minutes

Cover with a clean cloth and leave it for 10 - 15 minutes then remove it from a bowl and place on a surface dusted with flour.

Roll out the dough on a flat surface divide divide into desired shapes using a doughnut cutter

Place the shaped dough onto a tray and cover with clean cloth again and leave for 30 - 60 minutes

Heat the cooking oil and deep fry the doughnuts until golden brown

Once well cooked and golden brown, remove from oil

Serve with a cup of tea and enjoy
