Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsBasmati Rice
  2. 1 cupgrated carrot
  3. 1 cupshredded cabbage
  4. 1capsicum julienne
  5. 1garlic diced
  6. 3-4 tbspOil
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 tbspBlack pepper crushed
  9. 2 tbspSoya sauce
  10. 1-2 tbspWorcestershire sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the rice in water for 30 mins. Than cook the rice in boiling water with 2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp oil. When 3/4 cooked drain the water and keep the rice aside.

    In a wok take 3 tbsp oil and put garlic in it. Saute for a minute. Then add all vegetables (carrot, cabbage, capsicum) and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add soya sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt as taste and blackpepper and toss.

    Than add the rice and mix well. And put it on steam for 5-10 minutes. serve hot.
