Vegetable khichdi with dahi launji and chutney

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupParimal rice
  2. 1.5 cupmoong chilka
  3. 1chopped onion
  4. 1chopped carrot
  5. 1chopped capsicum
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. as neededGhee
  8. 1 teaspoonjeera
  9. 1pinchHing /asafoetida
  10. 1.5 teaspoonturmeric powder
  11. 1.5 teaspoonred chilli powder

Cooking Instructions

    Soak rice and dal for 2 hours

  2. 2

    In cooker put ghee, jeera hing add chopped onion saute till golden brown

  3. 3

    Add chopped veggies mix well add all spices

  4. 4

    Put the strained dal and rice add 4 cup of water and give 4 whistle

  5. 5

    Take out whistle and serve with chutney dahi and launji
