Wash dried green peas and soak in water for 5,6 hours or overnight

Take out all the water. Put the peas in cooker, then add 1 cup water and boil till it just starts pressure in the cooker. Do not wait for the whistle

Cool the cooker in running water. Take out the peas and spread in a clean cloth to air dry them for 2,3 hours.

Heat oil in wide pan. Fry the peas till it becomes light and starts floating on the oil. Fry for little more time.

Take out fried peas in a pot. Add all dried spices and green food colour. Mix well.

Spread in paper towels, so excess oil will get drained.

The crunchy green peas are ready. Store in air tight jar.
