Mofongo Balls with Fried Meat and Chicken Broth

Peel the plantains, slice them into rounds, and fry them. Then mash the fried plantains.

After mashing, add seasonings like salt or adobo, sofrito or other spices, a little optional garlic, and some butter. Shape the mashed plantains into small balls for your kids. You can rub a little olive oil on your hands to keep the mixture from sticking while shaping.

Cut the seasoned meat or chicken breast and fry it. After removing the meat, make the broth by mixing chicken bouillon with water and a little coloring for a nice appearance. Serve everything together.
