Ingredients

  1. 1 cup boiled Red Kidney Beans (Rajma)
  2. 1Boiled Potato
  3. 1/4 cupOnion chopped
  4. 1 tbspGinger-Garlic and green chilli Paste
  5. 1 tbspCapsicum bhi finely chopped
  6. 1/2 cupBread crumbs
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tspgaram masala
  9. 1 tspchaat masala
  10. 1 tspRed Chilli Sauce
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. as requiredOil to shallow fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak kidney beans overnight in water and pressure cook them with a little salt in water for 3-4 whistles.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in pan and add ginger-garlic- chilli paste.

  3. 3

    Saute it for a while, then add chopped onion and capsicum.

  4. 4

    Once onion is soft and light brown, add boiled and roughly mashed kidney beans with potato and all spices.

  5. 5

    Keep aside to cool down to room temperature.
    Make oval shaped kababs and roll them in bread crumbs.

  6. 6

    Shallow fry them on non-stick pan or deep fry if you want, and serve hot with any chutney, ketchup or mayonnaise.
