Ingredients

  • 1 kgCleaned and washed fish(Rogu/ Katla)
  • For Marinating
  • 1 tbspPepper
  • 1 tbspCumin seeds
  • 15 clovesGarlic (Medium sized cloves)
  • 2 inchGinger
  • 1/4 CupCoriander leaves
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 3Dried Red chillies
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1/2Lemon (squeezed)
  • PinchMustard Seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind all the masala ingredients to a fine paste. Do not add too much water. Just 1 or 2 tbsp is ample enough for grinding the paste.

  2. 2

    Then gently apply /coat the masala on the fish pieces. Let it Marinate for 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Once done with the marination, fry them as you like. (deep fry or tawa fry)

  4. 4

    Serve hot !
