Ingredients

  1. 2Fish pieces
  2. 1 Onion-(Chopped)
  3. 1Tomato
  4. 1 tspGinger
  5. 7-8 clovesGarlic
  6. 1 tspCumin-coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  8. To tasteSalt
  9. To tasteSugar

Cooking Instructions

    Now comes preparation of the curry. First step involves frying of the fish. For that boil oil in pan and let smoke come out. Then add fish and fry it.

    After that comes preparation of the gravy. For that prepare the masala paste first.

    For the masala paste, chop tomatoes and onions. Put them in a grinder. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies along with it.

    Now blend it and put it in the oil. Saute them well. Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder and sugar. Mix everything.

    Cook them in low flame till the raw smell of masala goes away. Then add 1 cup water to thicken up the gravy. Cover it with lid and let it cook in low flame for a while.

    It goes best with rice.
