Ingredients

  1. 1/2 tumblerIdli rice
  2. 1/4 tumblerTuvar dal-
  3. 1/2 tumblerRaw rice
  4. 1 and 1/4 tumblerKambu kurunai
  5. Wash and soak above ingredients all for 3 to 4 hours
  6. 1 tumblerGrated Coconut
  7. As requiredRed chillies
  8. As neededSalt
  9. 1 tablespoonJeera

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind all the ingredients together like small rawa consistency. Batter should be like idly batter consistency. Leave it for 6 hours or overnight depends on ur sour taste. Then steam the batter for 15 to 20 min.

    Once idly ready you have to crumble it and keep aside. Then heat a pan add oil and seasonings and add that crumble idly and fry for 3 to 5 min and switch off the flame.Finally add chopped coriander leaves.
