In a pressure cooker /pan boil Chaney ki daal, spinach, salt, red chilli powder, haldi, oil, water.

Cook till tender.The grain of daal should be whole but easily mashable.

In a frying pan add oil/ghee.

In this add onions n fry till light golden followed by garlic paste n saute.

Now add tomatoes n stir it well with all the spices mentioned in bhigaar.Bhoonofy it very well.

Then add green chilies and corriander leaves too n mix it.

Then add daal along with 1/2 cup water and cover n put on dum till all incorporated.

Serve with roti.
