Steps

Take the flour in a bowl, add salt, milk, ghee and knead it into a dough using as much as water necessary.

Once the dough is ready cover it with a wet muslin cloth and keep it aside for about 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into a lemon size balls and with a rolling pin roll out the dough into about 4 to 5 inches diameter rounds. While rolling dust the dough with flour. But be careful as to use as little flour as possible, as dry flour makes paratha hard and rubbery.

Spread half teaspoon of ghee on the paratha and in the center place a teaspoon of sugar.

Take the edge and start pleating bringing the pleats to the center. Press the pleats at the center to secure it.

Roll out the dough gently, dusting it with flour.

Heat a tawa and place the rolled paratha on it. Add ghee all around on both the sides and press the paratha slightly. Cook until brown spots appear on both sides.

Enjoy hot with garlic Chutney!
