Ingredients

  1. 12-14 Red button chillies (adjust the hotness according to your taste)
  2. 1 tbspCumin seeds (zeera)
  3. 1 tspCorriander (dhania)
  4. 1 tbspBlack pepper (can use less)
  5. Other ingredients
  6. 1 kgMutton with or without bones
  7. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste with small green chillies
  8. Additional small green chillies 8 to 10 optiona
  9. 2 tbspLemon juicec
  10. 1/2 cupGreek yogurt
  11. 2 tbspOil
  12. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan and add mutton with all above ingredients.

  2. 2

    Saute it on high flame until all the masalas are cooked and no raw flavour is left.

  3. 3

    Add water and let it cook on low flame or pressure cook it until meat gets tender.

  4. 4

    I prefer pressure cooker, because the meat is usually done in 20 min.

  5. 5

    Then open the cover and add yogurt and lemon juice, saute until all the water dries.

  6. 6

    Garnish with green chillies and corriander. Serve with chappati, nan or pita bread and sirkay wali pyaz. Enjoy
