Gash the egg lightly from all around.

In a tiffin box add mustard seeds and poppy seeds paste.

Add 1/4 cup water, salt to taste and turmeric powder.

Mix well. Add boiled egg and mustard oil.

Lastly add sliced green chillies, mix and cover the tiffin box.

In a kadhai place a rack, heat water.
- 7
Place the tiffin box in such a way that the 1/2 portion of the tiffin box is under the water.

Cover the kadhai and cook on medium flame for 20 minutes.

Serve hot with hot steamed rice.
