Simit: add all the dry ingredients and knead the dough well. Keep it in a warm place for rest for 1 hour.

Then divide the dough into 10 small pieces. Then roll them with your hand like a long rope and place 2 ropes parallel to each other then twist them and knot the end tightly.

Molasses mixture: in a pan take 250 grams of jaggery and 250 ml of water. Boil them until molasses dissolves completely.

Dip each twisted dough in the molasses mixtureand make sure it’s covered completely. Then dip them in sesame seeds and ensure they are fully coated.
Let the dough rest for 20 minutes then bake them in a pre heated oven at 200°c for 20 minutes.

Menemen : In a frying pan add oil and onion and fry them until becomes brownish. Then add all the spices and cook them for 5 minutes. Then add diced tomatoes. Cook for 10-15 minutes stirring frequently until it thickens. Sprinkle salt over it.

Make some space for each egg and break them into these spaces. Let the egg whites set and simmer uncovered until the eggs are slightly cooked. Then cover it and cook it for 8-10 minutes. Now enjoy this delicious menemen with simit.
