Cooking Instructions

Crack the nut by hitting it with a hammer along the side. You can also hit it on a hard surface.

Use a knife to force the coconut open.

Use the same knife to remove the coconut flesh.

Pour all the pieces of coconut into a blender.
- 5
Add water and blend until smooth.

Allow the milk to cool and then pour it into a clean container. I recycled a honey jar as you can see.

Store the coconut milk in the fridge. It should be good for a week. Use it to cook rice, beans, chapatti, fish, cakes, and other dishes
