No yeast citrus bread

I've always imagined and wandered how baking a bread without yeast will be like. For the time after seeing a video of a bread made without yeast, I, too, decided to try my own luck. It wasn't as fluffy as the normal bread, but it sure tasted great. Everyone was like,'wow, a yellow bread!'.#Bakeabread

Add lemon zest and fold in using a spatula.

Add the orange juice and food color and give it a mix. Make sure everything is fully incorporated.

Transfer batter into a greased loaf pan. Arrange the orange slices on top and some dry fruits (raisins), which is optional. Just decided to give it a nice view.

Bake in a preheated oven for 40mins before opening to check to see if it's done. I baked mine for 1:20mins, on low heat. Enjoy!

Glazed Cranberry Orange Bread Glazed Cranberry Orange Bread
I made this for the first time during Christmas of 2018, although I'd been wanting to try my hand at a cranberry orange combination for forever. This is another great sweet to serve with tea/coffee, or at holiday gatherings. As my mother put it when she brought some to her workplace: "one lady said 'oh, I've had something like this before' so she took a piece, walked away, and came back five minutes later saying 'hold on, I've NEVER had anything like this before!'. Everyone loves this bread!" Shanda -

Strawberry Yeast Bread Strawberry Yeast Bread
I tried this straight method, even though I wasn't very good it yet.Use your kotatsu (warm table) when making the fermented strawberry liquid, or letting your dough rise. If you have a bread maker, this is easy if you use the Hoshino natural yeast starter mode! When making the starter, add a little raisin yeast. Fermentation will be accelerated, and you won't waste any. Recipe by jirocho cookpad.japan -

This is the yeast version of my natural yeast mocha french bread. You can use a piece of canvas instead of a cloth in step 6. Salt Rising Bread Salt Rising Bread
Been loving this bread for nearly 60 years. My grandkids call it "stinky-feet bread" because when the loaves are baking, or you're toasting slices (we like it best toasted!), it smells like stinky feet. Toasted slices are very crunchy on the outside, and moist and chewy on the inside. DELICIOUS!!!!! NOT easy to make, but well worth the effort! Our home town bakery used to make this once a week, and throughout the 1950s and 60s my dad was always first in line to buy half a dozen loaves. These days the only way you're likely to experience this delicious bread is to bake it yourself. Maggie Conlon -
