Ingredients

  1. 3 tbspOil (1 Tsp + 2 Tbsp)
  2. 1cupbOnions, Chopped
  3. 2sliced Green Chilies
  4. 1 tbspGinger Garlic Paste
  5. 1.5 tbspSpice Mix (Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp + Garam Masala
  6. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1/4 tspRed Chilli Powder
  8. To TasteSalt
  9. 2Tomatoes
  10. 1Red Bell Pepper/capsicum
  11. 1/4 cupGround Cashews
  12. 1 cupPaneer Cubes
  13. 1 CupRed Onion, Cubed, And Layers Separated
  14. 1 tbspKasuri Methi

Cooking Instructions

    Puree tomato and bell pepper and keep it aside.

    Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and sauté cubed onions for 2-3 mins.
    Transfer onions to a plate and set it aside.

    In the same pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
    Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

    Now add chopped onions and sauté till they turn golden in colour.
    Add green chilis and cook for a minute.

    Now add pureed tomato and bell pepper.
    Mix well and let it cook for 5-6 mins.

    Add chilli powder, salt, and spice mix of (turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder).

    Let the spices cook for about 2 minutes.
    Now add sautéed onion cubes, ground cashew and mix well.
    Cook for 2 minutes.

    Add kasuri methi, paneer cubes and mix well.
    Let it cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.

    Once done remove from heat and garnish it with cashews and coriander.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with any roti or naan of your choice.
