Steps

Wash and Soak rice for at least half an hour.

Now take a pan and put ghee or butter or oil. Jeera rice taste better with ghee or butter.

Now put jeera and let it splutter.

Before it turns dark brown add rice and mix gently.

Add sufficient water and boil it. Add salt to it.

Now when water gets evaporated. Lower the flame and cover the pan for 5 6 mins.

After five mins rice is done and ready to serve. Take out in serving dish and garnish with coriander leaves.
