Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 1/2 poundspork loin cut into 1-2 inch cubes
  2. 1/2 cupcornstarch
  3. 1⁄4 cup vegetable or canola oil
  4. ----------------------------------------
  5. Sauce: (This is the best sauce I have ever made!)
  6. 1/2 cupgranulated sugar
  7. 4 tablespoonsketchup
  8. 1/4 cupwhite vinegar
  9. 1/4 cupapple cider vinegar
  10. 1/3 cuppineapple juice
  11. 2 tablespoonslow sodium soy sauce
  12. 1 tablespoongarlic minced
  13. (I omitted the 1 tablespoon ginger minced)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Start the Rice before you cook the Pork

  2. 2

In a large zip top bag, toss the pork
pieces with the cornstarch well so every piece is
    covered. Set aside.

  3. 3

Add all the "Sauce" ingredients to a bowl and
whisk together to combine. Set aside

  4. 4

Add the vegetable oil to a large pan over medium-
    high heat.

  5. 5

Once the oil is hot, add the pork and fry on
medium-high heat until crispy and golden. Toss
the pieces to make sure you cook them evenly.
Cook until golden and crispy, about 7-10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Drain excess oil from pan.

  7. 7

Give the sauce a quick stir, as some ingredients
are on the bottom of the bowl, and add it to the
    pan.

  8. 8

Stir to coat well the pork for about 30 seconds to
1 minute, until sauce has thickened.

  9. 9

If the sauce is not as thick as you want, mix
separately 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2
tablespoons of water and add it to the pan. (never had this issue)

  10. 10

Wait for the sauce to start to boil, after that
    remove the pan from heat.

  11. 11

    Serve immediately with rice.

  12. 12

Sorry for no picture, but it didn't hag around long enough after cooking.
