Ingredients

  • 200 gmChickpeas
  • 1tbsp Salt
  • as neededWater
  • 4 tbspOil
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 2Clove
  • 5Black pepper
  • 1 tbspCumin
  • 3Onion chopped
  • 2 tbspGinger, garlic paste
  • 2Green chilli
  • 1 cup Tomato puree- ( four tomatoes)
  • 1 tbspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tbspCoriander powder
  • 2 tbspChole masala
  • 1 tbspAmchur powder
  • 1/2 tbspGaram masala
  • 2 tbspCoriander leaves
  • 3Pav
  • To tasteTamarind chutney
  • To tasteSev
  • As neededGarlic chutney
  • To tastePomegranate
  • To tasteOnion
  • To tasteGinger stick

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak 100 gms of chole overnight.Cook it in Prestige Pressure Cooker and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Heat oil and fry onions till golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add chilli powder,coriander powder and Everest chole masala. Fry them for 3 mins on low flame.

  4. 4

    Add chopped tomato,green chillies,ginger and salt to taste.

  5. 5

    Add boiled chole and cook for 5 mins.

  6. 6

    For added flavor,add chat masala add kasuri methi.

  7. 7

    For pav, apply butter on both the sides and cook it on a Non Stick Pan till you get a nice golden colour.
