Steps
- 1
Mix malai & milk powder, make a lump like ball & keep it in deep freezer for one hour to set, then grate it.
- 2
Take non stick pan, add sugar & add water till sugar submerges, not more. Let it boil till it becomes thick like two strands.
- 3
Once sugar syrup becomes of two strands, add grated khoya and keep stirring on slow flame till it becomes a little thick. If you like yellow colour add saffron at this stage. Then turn off the gas.
- 4
Let it cool completely & become little dry too. Add cardamom powder & mix well. Check that you are able to make penda or not ? If not let it dry for some more time. Then give the shape of penda & can give impression & design on the top side or can put almonds too.
- 5
Relish whenever you wish or crave for sweet.
