Ingredients

  1. 250 gatta flour
  2. 1/2 tbspbaking powder
  3. 1/4 tspsalt
  4. 45 gbrown sugar and 20g icing sugar
  5. 150 gmargarine
  6. 1 tspginger, grounded
  7. 43 mlmilk

Steps

    Gather all your ingredients

  2. 2

    Preheat your oven at 180 degrees celcius and prepare your baking tin/tray

  3. 3

    In a large bowl, mix all your dry ingredients.

  4. 4

    Add the margarine and start mixing till you get crumb like texture

  5. 5

    Add the milk and kneading the mix till well incorporated. You can transfer the dough to a flat clean surface to help you knead well

  6. 6

    Roll out the dough but not too thin.

  7. 7

    Cut the dough into small round shapes (i used a glass of water for cutting)

  8. 8

    Make the holes using a tooth pick or skewer

  9. 9

    Bake for 25 minutes

  10. 10

    Serve with a cup pf tea or milk and enjoy 😊
