Ingredients

  • 1 cuprava /semolina
  • 1/2 cupoats powdered
  • 1/4 cupbrown sugar (yields mildly sweet taste)
  • 1/2 cupgrated beetroot
  • 4 tbspghee
  • 4 tbspcoconut + another 3 tbsp for rolling the laddo
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • As requiredCashews and raisins

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee, fry the raisins and cashews and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee again and fry the powdered oats and remove.

  3. 3

    Heat 1 tbsp ghee and roast the rava till you get a nice aroma.

  4. 4

    Heat 1 tbsp ghee and roast the grated beetroot till all the liquid evaporates.

  5. 5

    Lastly dry roast the coconut.

  6. 6

    Finally add the rava, oats, coconut, brown sugar in the pan, keep it on a low flame. Add the milk raisins and cashews and mix well till a smooth lump is formed.

  7. 7

    Once it cools enough to handle, make laddoos and roll them in the roasted coconut.
