  • 2 cupsflour (about 250 grams)
  • 2.2 poundswhite fish fillets (about 1 kg)
  • 2 tablespoonsmayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoonsmustard
  • 1 canbeer (about 12 oz or 355 ml)
  • 2 teaspoonsdried oregano
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 6eggs
  • Oil for frying
  • Bouillon powder or granules
  • Corn tortillas
  • Pico de gallo
  • Crema or mayonnaise
  • Cabbage
  • Lime

Steps

30 minutes

    Blend the flour, eggs, oregano, garlic, beer, mayonnaise, mustard, and bouillon in a blender until smooth.

  2. 2

    Cut the fish into medium-thin strips, not too long so they fit in a tortilla. Season the fish with salt and pepper, then coat with the batter.

  3. 3

    Fry the fish in very hot oil until golden. Serve in warm corn tortillas with cabbage, pico de gallo, lime, and crema.
