Cranberry Sauce for Turkey

Cranberry sauce is the classic accompaniment for stuffed turkey at Thanksgiving dinner in the US and Christmas dinner in the UK. The flavor varies by region—US cranberry sauce is sweeter than the English version. It's very easy to make: just simmer cranberries with sugar and water until thickened. You can enrich it with other ingredients like almonds, ginger, cinnamon, orange juice, and more.
