Cashew Upma with tomato chutney

Dry roast the sooji for few minutes.Remove on a plate

Heat oil. Add the mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Now add the urad dal,cashews,chillies, curry leaves. Saute till well browned.

Add water, ghee and salt. Let it come to a rolling boil. Now add the sooji stirring simultaneously. Switch of the gas.Cover and leave for 5 minutes.

Open and stir well once again. Serve hot with tomatoe chutney.

Heat a tsp oil and add the dal, dhaniya,chilli,ginger and saute. Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cover and cook till soft. Cool and grind. Heat oil and Temper with the ingredients mentioned. Serve with cashew upma.
