These are the ingredients we will need.

Take a pan heat some oil. Fry sliced onions till brown.

Fry the fish in the same oil lightly.

Now add the whole spices to the oil. Bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and red dry chilli.

Add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes away.

Now add pureed tomatoes.

Fry till it changes it's colour. Add salt turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder.

Once it's properly cooked and mixed the spices switch off the flame and let it cool down for few minutes. Now add beaten curd.

Mix it really well. Add hot water let it simmer for few seconds. Add fried fish and some chopped coriander leaves.

Simmer for few more minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
