Steps

Soak poppy seeds in water for 3 to 4 hours and then drain all the water.

Add the poppy seeds in a small chutney grinder.add green chilli and water.
grind to a fine paste. add more water if required while grinding. - 3
Now heat the oil in a pan and add Nigella seeds. Then add the potatoes in the oil and cook on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes.

Now add salt, turmeric powder and green chillies and mix. Add water and cover the pan. Check in between and once half done.

Add poppy seeds paste and mix well to coat the potatoes with the mixture.

Cover the pan. Let the potatoes cook nicely on medium flame. Cook till potatoes are soften completely. Mix them once again.

Potatoes are ready.serve with poori or luchi and enjoy.
